Rebuild

“:…”the hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him; but his power and wrath is against all them that forsake Him.” So they fasted and besought our God for this; and He was intreated for us.”Ezra 8:22-23 KJV

Ezra did not trouble himself with armies of the Babylonian king, he had faith, knowing that God would do good and deliver him, and through his faith he went to Jerusalem and began to rebuild. We are in a time in which God is calling His people to readjust their focus onto Him, He wants to rebuild the temple in our lives, but this requires faith, and no simple faith, but mountain moving, miracle working faith, and a determined heart that will seek the Lord our God and love Him first and foremost.

Ezra prayed and repented for the sins of the people of God, and then led the people to turn away from their sins, this would set the stage for the rebuilding of the people of Israel and the return from captivity, but it starts with faith. If we want to return from our own spiritual captivity, and see the same done in our world, we must have faith, and be honest about ourselves and our sins, turn from our wicked ways and turn to God.

It is never too late to come to God, until it is too late, but as long as we draw breath we can turn to the Lord and repent of our sins. God turns back His wrath when the people will turn back to Him, He did it for Nineveh, and He set the stones for all of us when Jesus took the cross becoming a way for us all to come to God and seek Him if we will turn from our sins. We must put nothing before our God, He is to be our first love, but if we seek Him all else will be added to us. Repent, and turn to God.

Amen.

Fear not

Our world is currently full of fear, fear of sickness, fear of governments and armies, fear of food shortages and droughts, fear of what the future holds. Fear not the things of this world, but I urge you all to fear God and keep His commandments.

The Bible tells us the beginning of knowledge is the fear of the Lord (Proverbs 1:7). When we come into discipleship and become true believers we are no longer apart of this world, we are only in this world, and our fears should not be tied to this world. This does not mean we cannot have concerns about what is happening, but we must strive to act, and not fear. We as sons and daughters of a God have power, and we can impact this world, but only if we act and live only in fear of He who is able to destroy both body and soul. This does not mean to be afraid of God, but to have holy reverence of our God, and to keep His ways.

We must pray to God to direct our feet, to give us the spirit of courage in order that we may take the fight to the enemy. When we fight, we do some from a place of victory, and we must fight, fight our urge to fear and fight out enemy. If we fear, then we do not live in the fullness of understanding or love, for perfect love casteth out fear (1 John 4:18). I urge all in this time to seek God and His righteousness, flee from fear and do not let it control, but seek God and live according to His word.

Amen.

Stand strong

Dear brothers and sisters, I know that many of us are in a place of anger or fear right now. We are worried about what is happening in America and around the world, whether we are afraid of the Coronovirus, or afraid of our own governments, but I urge you in this matter, stand strong in your faith and in your knowledge of God. His plans are for us to prosper, no weapons formed against us can prosper and no plague shall come near our dwelling. I received a word from God, many hard days are ahead of us, some of us already know that, but do not be afraid, have courage and stand strong. In these trying times let us first come to God, more fervently than ever before. Do not let the media or the government take from you the one thing nobody can take from you, and that is your faith. God will see to His people, He always has. I was recently rereading 2 Chronicles, and the pattern of the people of Israel and Judah, how their leaders would go through periods of revival, and into periods of backsliding, do not let this time of isolation bring you into backsliding, into sin, or turn you away from God. Rather, use this oppurtunity to further your relationship with God, use this time to go to your prayer closet and seek out God in a personal relationship. This time will bring those true seekers into the light, as they will seek God, and those who merely were followers will find themselves struggling to stay afloat in the dark tide, but any who will call on the name of our God shal be saved, for this is His will, so even now as churches close, as we live in times of fear of gathering, seek God, seek Him online, seek Him in your Bibles, and most importantly seek Him in prayer, conversational prayer.

And always stand strong in your faith.

Amen.

2 Chronicles 7: 13-14

2 Chronicles 7: 13-14

13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

We live in sinful times, we as a people have turned away from God. God does not want evil to befall his children, but calamity and fear often drive us back to Him. Right now there is a virus codenamed COVID-19 spreading around the world. It is not as dangerous as the media claims, and yet the fear has lead to an almost complete shutdown of the global economy. We must have confidence that God protects those who call on His name, and call themselves by His name. We must also seek him and follow after him. Turn away from false idols, vain imaginations of the mind and seek after God and His righteousness. When we seek God, we will find Him, Jeremiah 29: 13 says “And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.”

Seeking is an active pursuit, turning from wickedness is an action, God requires action from His people, but it is not without promise, and the promise is worth the effort. I can look back on my life and I see the difference in my life when I sought God from those times in which I had backslid, when my fire was burning low. I have felt desperate, alone and been in dark places, but God is stronger than our fears and our loneliness. He is worth serving, and he believes that each person is worth saving. We must take the first step, and as we work toward coming to God He will come to us as well.  Turn, and seek the LORD your God wholeheartedly, and reap the fields of His goodness.

Amen.

A battle cry

Brothers and sisters in Christ, it is time for us to issue forth a battle cry in the heartland of America. Our nation is falling away from us, drifting further and further into chaos, Godlessness, and depravity. The nation that we all know and love is slowly being deformed through its own sin. We must fight for our country, fight like Abijah and his might army who would not back down, but relied on God and shouted a might shout (II Chronicles 13: 15) and found victory against overwhelming odds. Our battle cry should shake the foundations of the Earth as well call on God to save America. Evil is trying to take over the heart of our world, and it is finding more and more power in America though the lies and deception of those who vaunt themselves against God. Even now there is an agenda that is finding its way into our nation, poisoning it from the inside, but as Christians we must rally behind our banner, we must look to the hill for the standard given to us and say no more, we will no longer allow sin and darkness to gain ground, but instead we will fight with all that we have. Lift our voices to God in unison and let us give no room to darkness. We have to fight, if we stop fighting then we will allow evil to reign, fight like our lives depend on it.

Amen

Casting away

The Bible is filled with commands and examples of why we aught to cast away those things that are not of God, which can lead to the dissolving of relationships. While it may seem like the opposite direction than we would find from a God who is not willing that any should perish (II Peter 3:9), yet it is something that even Jesus taught us. Jesus said to his disciples “Do not give what is Holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearl before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.” (Matthew 7:6) Rather we must be a good watchman, like Ezekiel 33, and warn the people and if they refuse to hear we will have done our part. Even the disciples were sent into cities, and those that would not listen, the disciples were to dust their feet off at the gates and they would face God’ judgement. II Corinthians 10:5 reads “casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God…”

There is a clear distinction between sinners who are in need of saving, and those who set themselves against God and will not come to Him. Our job, as sharers of the word then becomes to share it, and let each man come to God or not. We must witness to all, but know that some will never follow God, but will always chase after evil, and it is these that we must have nothing to do with. Dine with sinners who will recognize God, such as Matthew the tax collector turned disciple. When light allows itself to be polluted by persistent darkness it can drown out that light. This happened to Israel when king Asa, who walked in the ways of God and cast out idolatry in Israel left the groves, which left open a door to sin, which was walked through by a future king. This time of sinfulness lead Israel to being punished for their darkness until Hezekiah would tear down the groves, fully cleansing Israel of those temptations into sin, he had separated light from dark, and cast out the darkness. Do not be afraid to cast aside stumbling blocks for fear that you may not save a certain soul, some souls will not allow themselves to feel God’s love, and all we can do is walk away and keep praying for them and maybe God will send another to heal them and bring them into His will.

Amen.

Misconception

There is a misconception within modern day Christianity, and it comes in regard to the adversary the devil, and to his minions. Many people nowadays believe that the devil lives in hell, where he rules like a king and sends his demonic host. In scripture however, we read something else. In 1 Peter 5:8 we read that the devil walks about the earth like a lion, seeking those he may devour, which matches the narative found in Job 1. The devil, satan, Lucifer whatever name you choose to call him has set himself against God, and he aims to corrupt and ruin as many humans as he can, deceiving them from the begining to go against the will of God. demons like wise live on the earth and they try to possess and to deceive in order that they might turn as many away from God as they could. Hell is also commonly mistaken, the modern churches depiction of hell is actualy a mix of several concepts from scripture. There is Hades, or the pit a spot deep inside the Earth that swallows souls, and the lake of fire, a place set aside for after the day of judgement, a place that satan, the false prophet, demons, the anti-christ, and any who do not turn to God, will be tossed into to suffer for time eternal. Hell is not a kingdom, it is going to be a place of pain for all spirits that are not of God, and there is only one way to escape it, and that is by following the Lord Jesus, who is the Christ, the only Son of the living God. Satan is not peaceful, is not here to help people or to help them, he is out to destroy all that is of God. Satan convinces individuals to “love themselves” and to do anything that will bring them happiness or pleasure, but this is not true love, it is a love aimed at corrupting and twisting the individuals sense of self worth and morality. It turns them away from God and righteousness. Satanists claim they do not follow or believe in satan, but the fruit they bear says otherwise, they will share his image, they claim he is nice and kind. Satanists promote sexuality and other forms of unrighteousness, andsay that they love themselves and are only sharing that love, which is not true, for their definition of love is perverted and mistaken, for they are confusing lust and passion with love. True love is less about happiness, but sacrifice. Do not let the media deceive you, for God is real, and is coming and we should stand with him.

Australia fires

Australia has always been plagued with intense bushfires, but 2019 saw the worst fire season on record. Many climate activists instantly wanted to credit this to global warming, however Australia soon learned, this may not be the true perpetrator, instead nearly 200 arrests were made for fire related offenses, including 24 for intentionally starting brush fires. Those numbers are striking, and gives us new insight into many of our worlds true problems, people and their actions, whether from a lack of understanding, or a lack of empathy and heart issues (heart here being the soul of a person, not the physical heart) has caused devastation. To all those who have suffered loss, all the animals that have been killed, the people who have lost homes, family, and ways of life this must be harder than hearing that it was an event like climate change, but that rather it was evil and wickedness from people that caused such devastation. After reports came down of the number of arrests, it took about a week for the liberal media to begin to converge on the reports, looking to negate the importance of human. involvment, but instead try and shift the focus back onto climate change. The truth is that when you take into account that fire season is a real thing, long before the climate change era, and that it happens every year, and then add to it humans lighting fires, some of which were Muslims who laughed at the idea, it is no wonder we are faced with one of the worst fires in recorded history. Anytime people begin to go and start to set fires with evil intent, it is going to have a larger impact than when nature takes its course. People need to take more responsibility for  human action, and try to find ways to connect with each other, not blame all calamities on climate change, but recognize the importance of a good heart. The truth is is that humans are responsible for all the terrible things happening, but not becuase of the fact we drive cars or eat meat and dairy, the truth is that we are drifting farther and farther away from the one true God, and so he is turning away from us, and this is why He is unleashing his plagues upon the Earth. We do need to make a change, and we can leave a better world, but it is not in changing our diets, taxing cattle farmers, or in getting rid of personal possessions, but rahter in turning to God and seeking Him.

God bless.

Turn to God

I must urge each and every individual who reads this, if you are not already right with God, then turn to Him. Confess that Jesus is Lord, and follow him in all your ways. This world is not forever, and the things of this world will disappear, flee therefore from secular living, and seek out God, sell what you have and buy hte field for the treasure that lies within it. Brothers and sisters, if you do not have the joy of Christ living inside you now, let me tell you this, turn to him and seek him, find that treasure, nothing on Earth compares to the joy of the Holy Spirit living in our hearts, driving us closer and closer into the heart of God. I have had quite the life, I have had many memorable experiences, but nothing I have ever experienced cpmes close to the feeling of closeness with God, when you are so near to him that you would not only live your life, but would live it for him, and be willing to sacrifice anything to be that much closer to him. Brothers and sisters there is nothing like living in closeness with God, being filled with the Holy Spirit, and witnessing as your cup runs over and fills others, emptying yourself that you may be filled again. Zealously seeking God with a firey passion burning inside your soul, there is no other life or feeling that can even come close to the feeling of this type of life, and it is the calling of each of us to live with such zeal for God. I pray that each individual, Christian or those still seeking their way in life, would be able to be touched by God, and to recieve this feeling of being filled with Godly love. If you will turn to him, and seek him with all of you heart, mind and soul not only will you experience pure joy, but you will find yourself changing, and those with you changing into mighty men and women of God, capable of shaking the foundations of the world and bringing others into the love of Christ. Turn to him, and let Him be God in your lives, and see the joy.

Amen.

Pride of climate change

The world has begun to truly elevate itself, mankind has always wanted to compare itself with the mosst high God, and now man has laid claim to the ability to affect the weather and the heavens. Take heed oh man, for what is a man that he believes he could control the heavens, there is but one who can control the heavens and the weather, and he alone is God. How prideful are you oh man, that you say that you can control weather like you are God, but only God has this power. Your world suffers from your pride, and yet you will not turn to me. The rains will be withheld from your world in the days to come, and more than this, and yet you will not repent. You will not turn back to the Lord your God, but will serve after gods you have made for yourselves. You worship the vain imaginations of your men of science and of your kings, but you will not hear the voice of those who cry the word of God, and for this and much worse the punishments of God will come to this world. Man says the world will end from your cars and your electricity, but God alone can destroy this world, and will do so when the day comes. There is no man with the power to control the heavens, but only God. Humble yourselves before God, and seek Him that we may be spared the judgements to come. Seek God that He may stay His hand for a season longer.

Amen.
