A battle cry

Brothers and sisters in Christ, it is time for us to issue forth a battle cry in the heartland of America. Our nation is falling away from us, drifting further and further into chaos, Godlessness, and depravity. The nation that we all know and love is slowly being deformed through its own sin. We must fight for our country, fight like Abijah and his might army who would not back down, but relied on God and shouted a might shout (II Chronicles 13: 15) and found victory against overwhelming odds. Our battle cry should shake the foundations of the Earth as well call on God to save America. Evil is trying to take over the heart of our world, and it is finding more and more power in America though the lies and deception of those who vaunt themselves against God. Even now there is an agenda that is finding its way into our nation, poisoning it from the inside, but as Christians we must rally behind our banner, we must look to the hill for the standard given to us and say no more, we will no longer allow sin and darkness to gain ground, but instead we will fight with all that we have. Lift our voices to God in unison and let us give no room to darkness. We have to fight, if we stop fighting then we will allow evil to reign, fight like our lives depend on it.

Amen

Casting away

The Bible is filled with commands and examples of why we aught to cast away those things that are not of God, which can lead to the dissolving of relationships. While it may seem like the opposite direction than we would find from a God who is not willing that any should perish (II Peter 3:9), yet it is something that even Jesus taught us. Jesus said to his disciples “Do not give what is Holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearl before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.” (Matthew 7:6) Rather we must be a good watchman, like Ezekiel 33, and warn the people and if they refuse to hear we will have done our part. Even the disciples were sent into cities, and those that would not listen, the disciples were to dust their feet off at the gates and they would face God’ judgement. II Corinthians 10:5 reads “casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God…”

There is a clear distinction between sinners who are in need of saving, and those who set themselves against God and will not come to Him. Our job, as sharers of the word then becomes to share it, and let each man come to God or not. We must witness to all, but know that some will never follow God, but will always chase after evil, and it is these that we must have nothing to do with. Dine with sinners who will recognize God, such as Matthew the tax collector turned disciple. When light allows itself to be polluted by persistent darkness it can drown out that light. This happened to Israel when king Asa, who walked in the ways of God and cast out idolatry in Israel left the groves, which left open a door to sin, which was walked through by a future king. This time of sinfulness lead Israel to being punished for their darkness until Hezekiah would tear down the groves, fully cleansing Israel of those temptations into sin, he had separated light from dark, and cast out the darkness. Do not be afraid to cast aside stumbling blocks for fear that you may not save a certain soul, some souls will not allow themselves to feel God’s love, and all we can do is walk away and keep praying for them and maybe God will send another to heal them and bring them into His will.

Amen.

Misconception

There is a misconception within modern day Christianity, and it comes in regard to the adversary the devil, and to his minions. Many people nowadays believe that the devil lives in hell, where he rules like a king and sends his demonic host. In scripture however, we read something else. In 1 Peter 5:8 we read that the devil walks about the earth like a lion, seeking those he may devour, which matches the narative found in Job 1. The devil, satan, Lucifer whatever name you choose to call him has set himself against God, and he aims to corrupt and ruin as many humans as he can, deceiving them from the begining to go against the will of God. demons like wise live on the earth and they try to possess and to deceive in order that they might turn as many away from God as they could. Hell is also commonly mistaken, the modern churches depiction of hell is actualy a mix of several concepts from scripture. There is Hades, or the pit a spot deep inside the Earth that swallows souls, and the lake of fire, a place set aside for after the day of judgement, a place that satan, the false prophet, demons, the anti-christ, and any who do not turn to God, will be tossed into to suffer for time eternal. Hell is not a kingdom, it is going to be a place of pain for all spirits that are not of God, and there is only one way to escape it, and that is by following the Lord Jesus, who is the Christ, the only Son of the living God. Satan is not peaceful, is not here to help people or to help them, he is out to destroy all that is of God. Satan convinces individuals to “love themselves” and to do anything that will bring them happiness or pleasure, but this is not true love, it is a love aimed at corrupting and twisting the individuals sense of self worth and morality. It turns them away from God and righteousness. Satanists claim they do not follow or believe in satan, but the fruit they bear says otherwise, they will share his image, they claim he is nice and kind. Satanists promote sexuality and other forms of unrighteousness, andsay that they love themselves and are only sharing that love, which is not true, for their definition of love is perverted and mistaken, for they are confusing lust and passion with love. True love is less about happiness, but sacrifice. Do not let the media deceive you, for God is real, and is coming and we should stand with him.

Amen.
