Donald Trump is under an impeachment inquiry for allegedly pressuring a foreign country to investigate an American politician and his son, who were involved in a Ukrainian business, and if there were any illegal activites done. The very authenticity of the company is in question, and whether or not if it is a legal company, or if it was brought about via corruption, a common place occurence in that part of the world. In order to protect it’s investment, Burisma, the Ukrainian energy corporation, brought on powerful figures from the western world to serve as the board of directors, in order to attempt legitimacey. Trump pressured Ukraine to investigate this matter and look for any illegal activity. The Democratic party wants Burisma to succeed for a number of reasons, number 1; Ukraine having it’s own energy company adds pressure to Russia, and this is a large part of the democratic agenda since Putin will not work with many of the far left. Number 2; they want to protect Joe Biden and his bid for the presidency, and if they can impeach Trump then they will protect Biden and try to secure the election, but if Biden is guilty of wrong doing then not only will he not win the election, but may of the democratic candidates will also lose favor to the incumbent president. number 3; this impeachment inquiry is taking a lot of public attention, pulling away the focus from many other events that those in the far left leadership want to have ignored. All in all this impeachment process has truly been a sham, from trying to block Republicans from asking questions of the witnesses, to accusing the president of verbally attacking witnesses when he tries to defend himself. The American people need to stand beside their president now more than ever. Key witnesses have been changing their story, only critizing and claiming the president has committed some crime after another individual has come out and said it. This impeachment inquiry is less a process of defending America, as it has been a campaign to not only remove a president, but also to usher in those who seek tighter and more government control, and feel they are above the laws they swear to uphold. There is an agenda within these impeachments inquiries, far deeper than to defend America.
